The Shadowplay brand was founded in 2020 in Kyiv, Ukraine, by Anja Marholina, the creative director of the brand.
The creation of the brand was based on Anja’s desire to create a unique product that would express the contradictory spirit
of modernity, make clothing on Ukrainian fashion scene less trivial.

The first collection that gave impetus to the development of the brand was called “Triste Baby Jasmine”. While working on this collection, Anna transferred and interpreted her tough experiences which she was going through at the time. Collection which includes Shadowplay’s best-sellers such as Bimbo Tristana and Madonna bikini sets, I am deaf bunny hat, which attracted the attention of buyers with their unique and catchy designs, as well as with carefully selected fabrics and materials.
After a period of establishment, the brand found its permanent base in Milan, Italy. The Shadowplay Team operates from there, as well as the brand’s studio and showroom. Thanks to a promising beginning, the brand has been able to sustain its growth, consistently enchanting customers with remarkable designs.
